We the football-watching public want to see the whole game — not just the quarterback and the line of scrimmage. It's time the networks gave us wider angles.
We the football-watching public want to see the whole game, not just the quarterback and line of scrimmage.
We demand that the networks modernize the football-watching experience with wider angles that keep as many players on the screen as possible throughout the play. We demand that the producers and directors instruct the camera operators with the following rule of thumb: keep the safeties on the screen during every pass play until after the ball is thrown.
Shoot games with wider camera angles. We promise not to spam you or sell your email or information to any third-party advertiser. This is solely about letting the networks know that we demand a change.
We deserve better. Let's demand that the networks modernize the angles for televised football. Sign the petition.
Send along any clips, GIFs, or still images that show the problem — the moments where the broadcast crops out the safeties before the ball is thrown.
